Description
Rope hoya vines and produces clusters of waxy pink star shaped flowers. They grow best in very bright light, though afternoon sun can bleach them. Feed monthly during summer with half strenght fertilizer. Let dry out between waterings. Water even less in winter. Rope hoyas bloom multiple time in summer. When a bloom is done, do not remove the leafless tip where the flower was, the new flowers emerge from the same spot again and again. Watch for mealy bugs. Use systemic insecticide. Not toxic but nmay cause mild irritation if large amounts of leaves are consumed.
