Pansies love cool weather and bright sunshine. They are the first plant you can plant outside in April. Pansies can tolerate frost but cover if freeze is expected. Deadheading is beneficial to maintain continuous blooming and neatness. Replace with other annuals when it gets too hot, as they don't perform as well.
