Description
Also known as the cylindrical snake plant or African spear plant is a succulent. These plants do best when neglected. They can survive long periods of drought. During the growing season (spring to fall) they will appreciate semiregular watering and occasional fertilizing. And over the winter plan to avoid fertilization and water minimally. Watering roughly once a month should be fine. These plants can tolerate somewhat low light conditions, but they prefer bright filtered light like a bright north-facing window. Like most succulents, these plants prefer a sandy soil that has excellent drainage.
