Description
Venus Flytrap's are a carnivorous plant. When an insect crawls onto the leaves and contacts a hair the trap prepares to close. If a second contact with the hair occurs within 20 seconds, the trap closes shut. Once shut the plant releases enzymes and start digestion. Digestion takes about 10 days during which the pray is reduced to husk and the trap reopens and is ready to reuse.
